DIRECTOR
Tarek H. Mokhtar, Associate AIA, Ph.D., M.Sc., is a prominent scholar whose interdisciplinary research integrates architectural robotics, information technology, artificial intelligence, and non-humanoid social robotics. With over twenty-five years of distinguished academic and practical contributions, Dr. Mokhtar holds U.S. patents in spatial intelligence systems and dynamic robotic environments. At Alfaisal University, he directs the DIMENSIONS Startup Studios for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Design Thinking, and the DaVinciAT Robotics in Architecture Research Center, overseeing its specialized labs (Morph, Edge, RoboTek, and iDNA), dedicated to advanced technologies in cyber-physical systems and robotics. Demonstrating his exceptional ability to garner support for groundbreaking research, he secured a significant $1 million grant to fund DaVinciAT's innovative initiatives. His scholarly impact in non-humanoid social robotics is widely recognized through numerous publications and international conference leadership roles. Dr. Mokhtar holds a Ph.D. in Planning, Design, and the Built Environment, specializing in Architectural Robotics, from Clemson University, USA.

Maria S. Alomari, B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering Studio Lead | Systems Thinking & Creative Practice

Engineer Maria is a dynamic and versatile individual who acts as Dimensions Supervisor, Alfaisal University. Her solid educational foundation in architectural engineering brings a unique blend of expertise in the world of design and engineering. She has also enhanced this knowledge with her public relation skills fostering social impact and community building. Maria has also served as a university instructor to mentor and guide the Architectural Engineering students in core courses such as the capstone project. Maria has also actively participated as a Research Assistant in a groundbreaking research paper titled "Smart Growth in Edgeless Cities: Rethinking the Urban Planning of Riyadh." As a teacher assistant in the course of Design thinking, Maria has contributed to mentoring the students of Dimensions’ various studios fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and growth. Her passion for mentoring and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs drives them to empower visionaries to transform their ideas into thriving ventures.

Raneem AlGhamdi, a King Saud graduate in English literature with a journey through various career paths. From serving as an executive assistant at an Esport company to teaching children swimming to coordinating the Saudi Orchestra, having dabbled in diverse industries One of the most valuable insights I have gained is that no matter what twists and turns life may throw our way, we have the power to mold and sculpt our circumstances to turn our reality into our true passion. For me, my truest calling lies in the role of a nurturer—whether tending to a child, tending to a delicate plant, or nurturing a creative project to fruition. I do swear by the timeless formula of the 4 P's: Patience, Perseverance, Passion, and a Pretty elastic sense of humor. Think of me as your ultimate backstage support, the behind-the-scenes crew ensuring that all the elements come together seamlessly on your grand stage.
